Here goes,
open med,
click on the the item who`s height/z value you wish to change.(item should turn yellow)
Click on the 3d wire frame tab at top of med screen.(your now in 3d wire view mode)
To alter the height/z value of the selected item in 1 meter increments, hold down shift & ctrl ,then use up and down arrow keys to alter the height.
If you want to alter the height in much smaller increments ,hold down the shift key only, then use up & down arrow key`s.
When finished click on 3d wire frame tab again, this will take u back to normal view, then unselect item by clicking on it or use the unselect all tab at top of med screen. That`s it your done.
Hope that helps;)

thank you very much for that. my next project to understand is placing BG's into vehicels guns etc. I understand (so so) what the manual says but to select the right things in the event part baffels me. ;) again thanks guys.

Just to add to BuLL's advice ...

If you want to adjust the height of an object that is placed in a building etc, highlight the building FIRST, then the object you have placed in it.

That's going to show you the the height of your object in relation to the building. You can then easily align whatever object as per BuLL's instructions.

Don't make the mistake I've done lots and lots, and that is to highlight in reverse :o

I've done that more often than I care to admit lol
