In all fairness it would be easier if we knew which game you are referring to & which particular ' Mod Tools ' you downloaded so we can see if we can rectify the problem for you.

The pack tool needs a commmand line interface, you must run it from a command prompt...it has no gui...

You can also run it from a batch file. This you can double click on, and it will open the Command line interface for you.

This is discussed in the pdf files that come with the BHD Mod Tools..Nova put them in for us to read..you should do this asap..

There is a ready made batch file in the download section..

http://www.dfbarracks.com/downloads/index.php?action=df&fid=...

Put the batch file in a folder with all the files you want packed, locate the batch file, run it, and it wiil pack your files..

for %%f in ( *.3di) do .\pack .\EEmod.pff %%f /FORCE

This line will pack all your 3di files into a pff file called EEmod.

Change the name of the pff file in the line to whatever you want..

EE

There seems to be a problem with the download section still (since our server migration).

You can get it from my own site..

ok thanks for that link

but i have another question.

i put the 5 files ,listed in the overview, into a seperate folder along with the pack.exe and your version of the pack thing and then packed those files into a .PFF and renamed it to my terrain...

then i took the pff and placed it in the mod folder inside of the BHD folder but my terrain will not show yup in the Terrain list on MED

For BHD..

http://www.dfbarracks.com/forums/viewthread.php?tid=29039

You won't need a def file..

Or, just dump the files into your BHD Root directory, and use the /d
