make a DF2mapzips folder within the DF2 folder to DL zip to then extract(right click select "extract all") it to

"C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force 2"

make sure path is the same as above when extracting

NOTE: if when game was installed another folder was created instead of the default folder above you may will have to put maps there

IE: i DL BHD zips to "C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down\BHD mapzips" folder

(BHD mapzips is a subfolder i created to store map zips)

i then extract the map from there to my BHD folder

to unzip

1. place cursor(little arrow you move with the mouse) over the file you wish to extract

2. right click (!!!NOT LEFT CLICK!!!!) on the file

3. in the box that pops up left click on " EXTRACT ALL"

4. make sure the path(folder) to where file is to be extracted is "C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force 2"

what version of windows do you have?

depending on what version u have you may have to install the zip program if it isnt there when u !!!!!!!!!!!RIGHT CLICK!!!!!!!!!!(not left click)

Extract the files in the zip folder to your game directory and if it doesnt work look in the Faq section.

Win XP has native support for winzip, but it's not very easy to use, and can't always extract without errors..if your not using XP, then you may need to install Winzip, or Winrar if you haven't already done so, then, when you right click on the Zip, you will have to options mentioned above..

Demo version available below..

http://www.winzip.com/

Once extracted, make sure the files are in with the game.exe, and not in a folder within the game folder..use Windows Explorer to verify this..

You'll need to forgive the comments above, but sometimes we have to explain things to total newbies, he just got carried away..

:)

Dragon im am extremly sorry

for apparently belittleing you.

that wasnt my intention

and not to belittle you again but since this was the first time(i recall anyway) i have had any interaction with you the use of the word STUPID is completly wrong ive never at anypoint in this post thought u where stupid the word you where looking for is ignorance.

so please forgive my ignorance in thinking you may not have the knowledge(as most new users dont. please forgive that it was just an assumption that u was a new user to WIN on my part) of all the functions of the mouse the only reason i used "NOT LEFT CLICK" is because i have walked people through things like this over the phone and/or PMs and over 50% of the people(since there are so used to left clicking) when told to right click they left click instead

again i apoligise i should of just used the word 'arrow' instead of 'cursor' my reason again was in my ignorance thinking you was new user of WIN and may not now the jargo and me giving the meaning of the jargo so in the future you would know

how was i supposed to know what u know or dont know about windows? again i shoudnt have assumed this i should have asked and in my ignorance of your knowledge of WIN i have made a big blunder

bullet im sorry but why where u insulted at all? the post wasnt even intended for you you showed u have knowledge of WIN so why whould u be insulted?

again i apoligise to dragon

i spent 2 years using WIN 95 and i didnt even know u could right click i hated WIN until 98 i was a loyal DOS user and 95 really made DOS tougher i finally had to use windows when 98 out so trust me i know ignorance or WIN first had

okay has this issue been resloved?

are u able to extract the ZIP folders?

You actually helped though, lol. I realized that after extracting the maps from the zipped folders, that i had to manually drag the .bms file into the main df2 folder. Thank you for all the help!

yeah that works but when u extract the map u can BROWSE to the folder and it will extract to the DF2 folder the exception is if the files are zipped in a folder within a folder
