how to use the parachute
hi everyone!! I've recently noticed that there is, among all the other new objects, a parachute in the MED...just didn't notice how to use it...I'm
going to make a simple map to test it with a heli/plane in the air and then (if someone tells me how to use it) I'll throw myself away from the
vehicle and pray for the parachute to open before I hit the ground...so basicly what I want to kjnow is: HOW DO YOU USE THE PARACHUTE?...

forgot to ask
I forgot to ask another thing: in the video (get it here: http://www.dfbarracks.com/news/index.php?action=full_story&a...) in the 51st second you see a yellow crane moving; I found it in the MED but can't
put it moving; can anyone please tell me how to do it? is it in events (using play part animation...bla..bla..bla)?

I haven't had a chance to test these yet..
For the crane, I suggest you try using a play part animation..
For the chute, there is a mission where you start in a chute, I suggest you extract the mission files, use the bms to mis and take a look at what Vlad
did..

Without having done the extract, bmstomis, etc
I would suspect it would likely be treated as you would any other vehicle.
While descending in the parachute there is a small graphic on the bottom left of the screen that shows you seated on a bench (like riding a little
bird) and the unbuckled seatblet.

OK - Just did a quick test of a few things and it will require some more testing.
Could not get the animation for the crane to work yet. Tried various combinations but no luck.
The parachute and glider both have helicopter AI Textfiles. When you approach the parachute the Attach symbol come on. You can attach to the glider as
well.
You can use the main gun on the T72 as well as a .50
When the V22 lands - the rear ramp lowers and you can enter and use the gun mounted on the starboard side.
The pavelow animation works to lower the ramp and the gun also works.
You can man the gun of the ZU23.
You can attach to the fork lift. it's AI Textfile is GRND Jeep.
You can attach and use the .50 on the MMEX01.
You can attach to the MOD Jawa MOTO with UPsit (motorcycle), but not to the MOD Jawa moto2 with AI\Up S1.
You cannot attach to the MOD hemtt.

7>Snake, that I alredy know (thank you anyway), in fact, one of the first things I did When I got the MOD was to test all the vehicles; what I don't
know is how you jump from a plane with a parachute, for example.

To attach to the parachute or the glider set the player start marker to Red (Enemy).
It will automatically revert to Blue team when the map starts.
You can't really jump from another aircraft and use the parachute that way unless you are really lucky and manage to attach to it as you fall past.
Then all that is required is to position the marker properly for everything to work. It may take some fidgeting to get them all lined up but it will
work.
From that point, just direct it to waypoints as you would any other vehicle.
