what the hell?

Ive got another death defying question for you.

In my map I just submitted (Loonies in the Desert), I wrote that there is a problem with seeing people inside the barracks and radar building. The AI think they're Predator or something, I cant see them, so whenever i go near a window, there is this ginourmerous blast of an AK to my left! So you hurl a grenade in, its all over, but when you get to the barracks (two of them), a few of the windows have BGs at them. You cant see them from the outside, but they can see you from the inside and again Ive got another clan of Predators after me. I'd like to know what the hells going on. OK, that sounded too demanding. Can someone help me with this?

BTW, I have the barracks interior and a blue exterior. Dont think it makes any differences whatever the things are, but hey.

Yeah, as mentioned in a previous post..you need to set the blink groups for the insides of some buildings...

Before you change anything..run the map, walk in the door..does the interior suddenly appear?? If so, then it's definately a blink group problem..

Click on the building..In the item attributes..bottom left corner..

You may need to try a different med, not all the unlocked meds show them..

Nope. Still no BLINK rate anywhere. I might have to go hunting for this magical med, or I could just not worry about it.

Download the 192b med from the following link. It will display blink groups.

testing for blink groups

if im testing a map out the fastest way to test for blink groups is to throw a nade in the building if you do not see an explosion the blink group isnt set.

another way is to drop your weapon(0) inside the building and go out to see if you can see it

but if there is AI or something else in the building you should be able to see from outside the building but cannot this also indicates the blink groups are not set

the buildings need to have a group # and be set as parent otherwise the whole building will be invisable from the outside
