FOLLOW AI FOUND IN DF GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey DF fans,
Recentrly map editing a mistake lead me into this, I FOUND A FOLLOW AI, basicly getting troops to follow you around in combat, sorry to say the troops
do stand pretty much on the same spot and you will need to stay within about 50-75 metres of them, or they will stay put. Ne ways here, i akknowleged
it to be succesfull on DFTFD and DFLW, it may be compatible of DF2 , but im not sure. can someone reply with the anwser?
1: open up DF(#)MED
2: insert squad members(Must be civilian/green team)
3: put them into an area trigger
4: event: group (squad) leaves area trigger - group change team(squad) green to blue
now when you play the mission, run near or past them so they hear your footsteps and are at red alert, the should keep looking directly at you and
when you X distance away theyll move right behind you.
well that about it, experiment and pls reply, it may work on DF2 i cant check it yet until i get my copy of DF2 back.
Notes:
youll need to keep the squad in sight, if you move to far away and theyre out of the area trigger and on blue team and dont know were you are, they
stop!!!
also it isnt ment to exsist, so a common glitch in DF2/3/4 is squad members standing in the exact same spot, so it does look kinda weird, but hey a
squad based DF game, that dosent rip you of like BHD
