Underground structures problem

Any ideas on this? When placing underground structures and tunnels, I can't get rid of the black at the end of each item. If I put several tunnels together, you can't see down past the black at the end of one tunnel into the next. same goes for rooms and such. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Or, is this normal? I don't know. I wouldn't think so. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

OK, it's all about blink groups. They tell the video card when to render certain things. You need to set them up. You will need a customised unlocked version of the med, and a tutorial. If you can't find a tutorial, I got one here I've had foe years, I can email it to you if you want it.

OK thanks eagle eye. I tried two different MED downloads and neither one worked. I'll keep looking for one that actually works. Any idea where I can download a good one. I figured out the blink groups thing, but then haven't been able to find a MED that would work to change the blink groups. As I understand it, one of the items has to be the parent and all of the other items must be assigned the same blink group. Is that right?
Any help would be appreciated.

I extracted the files to my Dlelta Force Land Warrior file. The same file where the standard MED is located. Each time I try to click on it to use it, I get Illegal Operation. I then downloaded it into my other computer to try it and got the same results. Should I have deleted the original DFLW MED first or am I doing something else that is wrong?

change resolution

what version of windows are you using?

you need the unlocked dflwmed for the version of windows that you are using

if you were already placing tunnels in a map you should of already had the unlocked dflwmed version and didnt need to download it again.

if you are using WINXP the problem may be that your resolution is to high try lowering resolution and try again and/or try downloading another dflwmed

assigning a blink group

1. select all tunnel section that are/are to be connected (shift left click and drag)
2. right click then select "edit item attributes"
3. put a number in the blink group A box (lower left hand side of the item attributes window)
4. click the "unselect all" button(top right of med)
5.select all tunnel entrances(crvdentr,eopen01,02,03,obunk,qopen1,2,tbunk)
6. right click then select "edit item attributes"
7. in the blink group box A check the parent check box if you dont the tunnel entrances will be invisable from the outside

now all your tunnel sections will be connected and the black end will no longer be there
