Please try making idea for alternative.
Because there is no A/I getting target designator.
It means A/I can't designate target for you with marker.

When playing the game. Theres the one training mission that uses a mortar and it says to use a team mate as a spotter so that you can lock on to the
targets.

You will need a real human player to use the laser designator to give you a target, but I've often just guessed and fire the morter blind. Once you
know a map, you can get a feel for were the enemy congergates and proced to rain on their parade.

I'll have to play it again. I'm sure it didn't say any thing about that will work it MP only. Just said to use a team mate to shop targets for you. So
I have no way to test that then
