I did a forum search and the only results returned is where someone asked about this but it was concerning banning someone who kept blowing up
armories in COOP and it was suggested to put the "destroyable buildings" set to NO (after thinking about that, what if the mission calls for
destroying a comm building? Kinda SOL on that I guess...) but anyway, I didn't see a reply from anyone on how to set the banned.txt on how to ban by
IP range. How do I do this?

The Mission editor can make buildings destroyable or not.
I aint sure, but just type in the first 2 digi
eg. add 178.46.
I think it will ban all people in that range.

ok, so how do I enter this into the banned.txt file?
what do I put after the first two digits? I know how to ban by name by putting
0.0.0.0 "Blackhawk"
what do I put between the quotes or do I leave it blank like this:
178.46 "" ?

Thanks, I got it by using a .bat file to re-route the IP range to a non-existent location in my network.
