When i click on the u2u instant messager button my computer makes a bleep sound. Whats wrong?

The u2u instant messenger works as if its a pop up windows XP sevice pack 2 will block this. To allow it when the beep sounds look at the yellow box
below the url bar and allow the pop-up.

i tried what u said chrislew200 but it still doesnt work. when i click on the u2u instant messager button a blimping sound happens. whats wrong
