Welcome to the map making club. Here's a few suggestions.
1. Read the MED manual. Go thru it and make some test maps. See how you can add buildings, trees, and objects. Next, discover how you can create
waypoints, groups, and trigger areas. And discover how events are used to accomplish goals in your mission. The MED manual covers about 95% of
what you need to know about making most simple single player missions.
2. Read the forums in here on how to do stuff. Search if you get stumped on an issue. And if that doesn't help, post your question in here.
3. Try small and work your way up to more features in your map. Don't try to run at first. For your first mission, I recommend that you try
something like eliminate 20 bad guys in a small village. Create a map, add a few buildings in the center of it. Drop a few trees in. And add 20
enemy. Assign these 20 bad guys to the Red Team group. Add the start player marker. Assign a Win Condition under the General Info: select the
first one in the drop down menu: Eliminate all Resistance. Now setup an event that will display the mission goal. Select "Show Win Subgoal" in the
Actions section; you don't need a Trigger. Finally, setup an event that will end the game if the Red Group is destroyed. You'll need a Trigger
that checks if Group - All Destroyed - Group = Red Team. For the Action, use Win Subgoal - Eliminate all resistance.
4. If you want to see some examples of single player missions, you can d/l any of the OpBetty, OpSusie, or OpNancy missions. I included the MIS
file. Hopefully people can read my comments in the Events. But only review these MIS files after you're read the MED manual and created some test
missions.
NOTE: Be prepared to spend more than a few days on this. While you might be able to generate a simple mission within a few hours, a really good
mission only comes after spending several weeks learning the MED editor and the other tools.

Hello SAU_Admin, I'll put in the DFX download section a test map I made. I't will come w/ a bms file, to play, and an mis file, to look at in the Med
editor. I would follow Jonathan's advice about reading the Med manual, but it also helps to have some thing to play w/. In the map you will have
waypoints for Blue team, w/ progressive spawns. Targets are marked red on the spin map. If you have questions post them here or look in the JO map
making section as the DFX med and JOmed/A Bullet med work similar. Happy mapping.
