game glitching

XSEagle - 1-31-2005 at 05:55 AM

ok, when i play any game (mainly Joint Ops) it gets all like strange.... it goes all flashy and red, one of my friends told me it was a video card bug (GeForce FX 5700 LE, with latest drive) and that it was because I downloaded Service Pack 2... which is true and that's why it bugged... I would uninstall it and everything but my usb needs it to work... so I need some help of getting it to work without uninstalling SP 2... my game sometimes works, so I know it has the potential... if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate them... if you want a screenshot of what it looks like email me tfk4lyfe@yahoo.com, thanks very much.

Go to device manager, uninstall the video card, reboot then reinstall from the folder that the downloaded drive has been expended to...replacing all files when asked

eVGA is a brand name. I have an eVGA card. If it has marks ( various shapes, mostly triangular ones ) going across the screen, that is what I like to call artifacts. Artifacts are caused when a video card starts overheating. Check up on that.
