lol i think your computer is gone haywire with your LW. Did you call the mission a name in general information?
Yes, the utilities put DF2 objects into LW. You can also get TFD items and terrains into LW with DF2. fun fun fun. I have it but the computers doing some weird stuff.
Anyway, I gotta go have some recess. I'll come by later.

The Mapname.bms annoys me too but if your planning on making maps you need to learn to live with it because you cant change it! read the installing mods thread that EE has posted and if what your looking at in the download section is in that thread then its a mod that will add objects, terrains and a whole lot of good stuff to your stock dflw game. I suggest downloading and installing them. as for the rest of the stuff there. download and check them out all of it is usefull in some way or another.

Jet, can you help me out... I dont know if you can or anything but anyway..
I got that mod disc from ozferal and i installed it and I can do EVERYTHING, but only problem is, my stupid ^%&% bloody &^$^#$*(^ CD drive isnt working. I ripped my hair out just trying to work it (not really, but it would look funny) The computer dosent even detect the CD drive. I cant open it unless i force it open with a pocket knife, thats what i had to do to rescue LW last night. But the thing still dosent work. WHAT DO I DO?!?!

(im not jet but what the hey)
you could buy an external CD drive , i dont' think they cost that much and you just plug it in one of the ports at the back,i can't think of anything else exept sending it off to be fixed

"oh, Jet, what big claws you have!" LMAO i could send it away, but i cant be bothered. It works fine, just that cant play anything with CD. I'll have to ring Barefoot and get him over ASAP.

lol aha, whos barefoot.
some barefoot commming fixing your comp,

the legend of barefoot the computer fixer!!:o

LOL whos barefoot?
anyhow since you cant even open the cd-drawer that would indicate a lack of power. does the light on the cd-rom light up during the boot?

open your computer up and check to see if the cd-rom is connected to the power supply. if it is try changing the plug its on and see if it starts with another. if not i would say you need a new cd-rom.

if you need a new cd-rom you could get one real cheap.

I do have a question how many drives do you have? 1 hard drive and 1 cd-rom, 2 hard drives 1 cd-rom and 1 cd burner, etc. etc.. if you have multiple cd-drives/burner you could change the drive letter so you can still play until you replace the offending drive.

HA HA HA! lol, barefoots one of the members here. He lives like 80 kilometres south from me. lol. Hes the one who supplied me with te computers...
Anywho, yeah i got two hard drive things, but one of them wasnt connected to anything, so i hooked it up to anyplace that looked like it would fit. Still did nothing. Yeah theres a light on the CD drive. Only sometimes though. I dont know too much about the guts of a pc, so bare with me.
I tried fiddling around with the cords attached to the CD drive. Taking em out and putting em back in. It usually worked but not anymore:(

by all acounts it sounds like you need a new cd-rom. did you try different power connectors? (big white plug 4 wires)

You could mess up your hard drive by installing a new one and have both set for master. check to see if the hard drive jumper pins are set for master, slave, or cable select. most hard drives have a small diagram on it that shows where the jumper goes for each setting. if not the manufacturer web site will have that info.

your primary drive should be set for master and the other on the cable should be set for slave. the same applies to the other cable. (grey ribbon)

Also your BIOS might not be set to use another hard drive. but im not going to help you with that unless i was able to help in person. because you could realy screw up the comp.

You should talk to barefoot about hooking up the other hard drive. it might not be any good, if it is well you could add a slave drive and get extra space for stuff.

woah... that was confusing. I think I'll just let barefoot work on it. I dont want to screw things up. Thanks anyway!
