MOTM Feedback

we would like feedback on these changes that have been made to MOTM, we allready have several maps submitted for review and would like members to start looking at the maps and get the ball rolling.

if you have any questions, suggestions or querys about the MOTM please reply to this thread even if its just to say it looks good.

I think this new concept is a good idea, should give all the map designers better feedback to whats what with their maps resulting in a finely tuned, 'perfect' as can be map. Ill be using the map DB when I get BHD as I will only be able to run it on single player for the first month or so, cant wait!

Well heres hoping that people will make a point to do as many reviews as they do posts of thier maps, because thats the only way it can work.

The intent is to get users involved, but we cannot force people to involve themselves.. so anyhow lets hope that users do some reviews..

what was the map name please snake i think it was one of p1gstk's maps i posted it by mistake and replaced it with the one he wanted which was riverside rumble. if it wasnt this map please let me know

Unfortunately I've forgotten the name.

It was a CooP/SP game that had only recently been put in the download section.

I explained what I thought of the map the mistakes/errors I found, how I thought it could be fixed and gave it a rating as well (3/10) so perhaps he wasn't too happy and has taken it out to fix (I hope).

I like the concept too

hey it works both ways mind you post a map and i want you to review someone elses map. if you dont do that it aint gonna work

Top marks Bullet, a great idea for MOTM. My grumblings as mkingy1 aka Biohazard, didn't go totally to waste!!. I've taken a short break from map making and reviewing, work has really taken off, but I should be a regular again pretty soon, just wanted to pop by and say, 'Congrats' on a job well done.

You did have a really great comment about his map, id just finished playing it and was about to comment when I saw that Andy had accidently posted the wrong vertion, and followed your comment with his appologies. I deleted it for him and he has re-posted the proper map.

The map was actually re-posted today and I've played the latest version and rated it as well.

It's somewhat better but still needs some work that I can see. It was rated a 6/10 this time.

Yep, since this MOTM came up, I opened up the map editor one more time and got cracking on what I hope to be a gem (for me anyhow). At the very least, thanks for giving me a reason to start map making again.:D

well not all the maps submitted have had reviews yet

well.. since only maps that have been reviewed may be entered.. no maps will be leigible until they have made it through the two week review..

since the changes havent been up the required two weeks yet.. no maps are able to be nominated yet..

Also.. as of now some game versions seem to have very little or no participation.. maybe those that love the old games need to step forward... so some of those maps get reviewed and submitted as well..

its still there mate under the bhd section in the reviews i just checked and checked the link have i by any chance put it in the wrong section
