Mouse Assignments

Hello All. I recently purchased a Microsoft IntelliMouse. I had returned my Optical Blue mouse to Wallmart due to the weak scroll wheel, and upgraded to the 5 button mouse. My question is, will DF2 allow me to program my thumb and pinky mouse buttons? I would like to have my thumb button as jump, so that I can be more effective in both shooting and jumping at the same time. And, will I have a problem with the repeat rate? I want to be able to press and hold the thumb button and keep hopping as long as the button is depressed. I am currently on the school computers that have my optical mouse so I must say, I am very happy. My computer will come home for a visit on the weekend of 1/17.

my friend has 1 of those mouses.. hes got his setup to where it can pretty much do an autoknife.. like u knife.. then he hits his thumb 2 times and is back to his knife in no time..one of them is his jump also
go into the df2 settings and set the jump key to whatever mouse button u want and if it says mouse4 or whatever it worked..
im sure it will cuz like i said my friend has his setup like that

Okay, Thank ya. I will propbably have my Thumb set up to jump, my index finger to shoot, my scroll wheel to cycle weapons, my middle finger to scope with my scroll wheel increasing the elevation, and my right button as push to talk for Roger Wilco. I am right handed and we will see how ti all works out. I knoticed that people hopping around really helps them, and I have to cross over my right hand to hold down the space bar to jump, leaving me defenceless. This way, I will always have my jump button ready and ready to defend myself with one knotch roll to my M4. Thanks for your input.:)
