OK Basically heres the deal..
I am running a 700Mhz PIII with WinXP Pro .. I have 256MB of Ram and a GeForce4 MX 420 Vid Card with 64MB of Vid Ram..
My problem is as follows.. I start up a server and start playing and all is great.. all graphics are rendered as they should be - and things continue
normally.. then.. the map cycles.. (I have it repeating the same map) ..
Anyhow... once the map loads.. on the second time through.. My gun is invisible.. and the majority of buildings are chekered.. as are all the players.
. in addition my hand is messed up and held upside down. .
Anyhow.. just wondering.. has anyone else experienced thios problem. .and if so were they able to solve it??

I know exactly what you're talking about. I didn't get that until I started making maps. I have a Dual AMD 1800+ system with a VisionTek 128MB DDR
4600Ti card, so I'm pretty sure it's not the hardware. I am running Win2K SP3. I've done some troubleshooting, and I can reproduce this on the
second game I play (weather in a row or backing out) without shutting the program down.
I serve with custom maps, gimp hand game 2.
I serve with default maps, gimp hand game 2.
I have not yet been able to test if games from other servers will do this to me or not. I have a screen shot (every time I tried to attach it, the
post hung) that shows gimp hand, checkered opponents, checkered building and missing Hummer turret. U2U me if you want me to mail the screen shot to
you.
I'll tell you what, it makes it tough to see someone when they're sniping from a checkered building, preddy good camo
Any help would be appreciated if anyone figures out what may be causing this.
