I once played a map where we were walking in mid air. I recall the map maker saying something about pyramids or something. The level was completely in
the air with no ground, It was as if we were all floating in the air. If you know how this trick was done please tell me so I can finish my map and

BEER you are a great map maker. I don't get it because whenever i check that box it said "No Height Map" when i entered to test it. I will continue to
use your advice though :D and keep trying. if you find out new stuff please tell me. and i am going to try your halloween server i just don't know

YOU MAY NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE EXPANSION PACK BUSTER. I GOT THE "NO HEIGHT MAP" THING UNTILL I DID.

I Think your problem is that you haven't selected any terrain, even though you have ticked "no voxels" you still have to select a terrain. I suggest
bridge as it is flat.

u want then raise the Z level as
high as u want. but it can not be done.
you allways need a ground to be on.if you dont then u drop from the sky.
Try raising Z level.

the No Voxels option is exclusively for indoor combat only anyone going outside will just be caught without a ground its basically for designs like a
pyramid or a massive tunnel system. (quote right from the TFD map editor docs)

that is true, but also gives the effect of walking in mid air, especially if you choose a god fog colour. You have to use a flat terrain otherwise you
wont be able to see mountains, hilles ect and you could walk into an invisinle wall.
