This is just my opinion: I hope that we could discuss tactics, weapons etc. rather than techincal support, skins, and all this crap. :D
I don't know about you, but I bought this game to play.

Ok, speaking from another perspective. If say I knew some really good tactics, and played the same game as you, why would I tell you? Me telling you
my tactics would be like holding up a sign saying, "Shoot Me!" in the middle of the game. It just don't make sense does it. For I would be telling
you my tactics so that you can figure out a way to counter them.
Anyways, this website is multi-purpose. It is not only a great resource of information on all the DF games, but is a place where all the people of
the DF community can unite, and talk to each other as friends.

We all bought this game to play it.
However, many of us have discovered that there is more than one way to enjoy it.
Map making, tactics, shared ideas etc is what keeps the forums busy and stops some of us from getting bored with the same old same old.
Also...... shouldn't this be in the rant and rave forum???
Try looking past your nose and see some one elses point of view.

go for a real wander thru the threads , u will find hints on everything from clays to spawn armor, machine lag to how to run a good server, Cheats to
taking the micky out of Aussies, yanks and Poms:P

And as steptoe said, there are plenty of stuff in these forums that you are talking about. You just gotta take the time and do a little searching
through some of the older posts. Most posts don't stay on the first page for more than a couple of days.
