Well I have played all five right through to the end, I really like DHD, but gameplay iteslf is not up to the standsrd we expect. TFD is a poor excuse
and is just a Land Warrior Wannabe! Df2 was great, but cheaters got me out of it, I'll always have a soft spot for DF1, but my vote goes to DF3. Good
game play, choice of weapons, it's not demanding on the systems and plays well on a low powered pc, even with onboard graphics! Lots of things to use

Well I ahve played dflw and it sucks I also tried bhd today and does it. I'll stick with my original vote DF2 rules.

DF2 RULES !!
It has a few setbacks, like hack progs but that can be controlled. If you keep your servers manned and not dedicated cheats are no issue. besides
24/7 squad servers have a habit of dying. But clearly though others may have better graphics, df2 is better game play.

OK, ive ben playing for about 4 years now, and hands Down DF2 has got the best game play and is with out a doubt, the most realistic war sim game out
there. The only set backs are lack of graphics and quite a few program errors that NOVALOGIC needs to fix, but won't due to it not being their money
maker which brings us to BHD which IS they're MONEY MAKER.
BHD has some of the best graphics as far as war sim games go! it is truely realistic looking, but the game play is off

I dunno between DF2 and BHD, I'm having a bit of a fix. I tried DF:LW and it just didn't work out for me.
DF2 is absolutely pathetic in graphics, it's horrible, (well it was made in '99, but still), weapon selection is poor, and teamwork is not often used
in non-squad based servers, but it has the best gameplay by far, but still hackers, and also DF2 is well compatible with any computer, almost.
BHD has superb graphics, and teamwork is used in any kind of server, gameplay is good, not the best, but decent, weapon selection is ok, the different
classes kind of evens the playing field a bit, but by far the biggest problem is the registering for everything, all the upgrades and the fact that it
is not very good with 56k and a bad video card combined, (try playing with the smoke).
Overall my vote has to go to BHD though, but DF2 is right up there with it...

BHD is only good for us Snipers i think.u can get in the tightest places and snipe for ages and not get killed. DF2 is alrite but its more of a

ok well i like BHD but yes the graphics r good...but kinida kiddyish...and as OffensiveNameChanged said the graphics r all painted and kiddy looking.
and for df2 the gfx sucks, u cant hide, lots of cheats, lots of glitches...and df:lw ive played once...hated it cell shaded graphics. and the same
with df:tfd but with both those games...they had the best guns. so i guess my vote goes to df1...not many guns but there are enough, the graphics r
pretty good, the med is cool, not many cheaters in it nowadays, some of the best ever squads started in df1, and some still play it, there are some
downfalls like the glitches but u can get around them, there is no wind, the bullets dont drop, but yet u can actully hide and snipe, the greatest map
of all time is in it... Castle Battle!!! but not many ppl play it nowadays...but im trying to fix that...im trying to get ppl to spend what 5$? to buy
the game and play it. i say its the greatest df1 game made. just try it...and if u like get ur friends to buy it and play it. so........

Well it really depends on how real do you want it to be. If you want realism go with BHD. If you want some kick ass fastpaced action go with Df2. Or

Definitely DF2 - it's gameplay and number of map objects is second to none. The only downfall was how long it took Nova to get the gun emplacements

BHD is ok...only works well if you've got a good quality cpu though.
TFD is great in the aspect of Ranking and Medals system...but shi* for sniping.
DF2 absolutely rules!!! great gameplay, but the graphics could be a little better....but I'm not complaining with em :P
LW isn't too bad...though more people play DF2
DF1 I've never played...so I can't comment on it

the game could have been great if they hadda spent more time on it then they did.
BHD...Loved the first demo then they had
to mess that up too by trying to get to
fancy. Don't know about the actual real
game but the screen shots look excellent
but as my friends have said the cheats are
already ruining it for the decent players
